Wayne and his twin sister Laurie were delivered at home in Lagonave, which is an island near Carries.

Mom did not know she was pregnant with 2 babies, she died right after delivery. Dad believes she died of starvation as she did not eat much during her pregnancy.  She left a husband and 6 children.  She was 35 years old when she died.

An Aunt brought Wayne and his sister to the orphanage only 24 hours after they were born.  They are doing well and love being at the orphanage  Wayne is outgoing and loves to be boss.  He lets everyone know that he is in charge.  He has a big smile and loves to flash it at the ladies.  He is very smart and loves to walk up to the school to spend the day in his Kindergarten class.  He is very protective of his sister, Laurie.
