Kechner came to Mission of Grace with his brother who is 2 years older than him. Their mother was very young when she had both of them and was very overwhelmed in trying to take care of both children. She brought them to the orphanage because she was no longer able to care for them and knew that she would not be able to provide for them in the future. Kechner was very small when he came to us but with some time and proper nourishment, he was able to begin catching up with other kids his age and is now a healthy, active and thriving little boy who enjoys school and loves playing baseball.
