Hannahs mom died giving birth to Hannah, so hannah went to live with her 80 year old grandma. The Grandma was very concerned that she would die soon and there would be no one to take care of Hannah. Hannah came to live at the Orphanage at 1 year old. Hannah was very malnourished. The first 3 weeks with us Hannah cried. It seemed like she would be fine by herself of with only one other person. And she had never drank out of a bottle. So we trained her to drink her milk out of her bottle and over time we saw that she seemed advanced for a baby. No one knew Hannahs true age. She looked like a baby when we got her and was so weak. We have had her on special programs to help her gain weight.

She truly captures everyones heart with her quiet and gentle spirit and she is a serious child. It was hard for her to bond with anyone at the beginning. But as she began to realize that she is safe and protected she has allowed herself to love and be loved.

She loves the other kids at the orphanage and is thriving under love, and good food. We believe she will be a proverbs 31 woman. She will be a powerful leader among her people.
