Dolins came to us with his dad who was from a different village and his dad was around 25 years old. Dolins was very healthy when he came to us at 3 years old. Dad said that he wanted a better life for his child and that he wanted to go back to school but could not go if he had a child and he said he did not have anyone to help him take care of his child. At first look, we did not want to take Dolins because you could see he loved his dad and wanted to be with him and that he was very healthy. But dad really wanted to better his life, so we decided to take Dolins. For about 4 months Dolins was a very aggressive little boy, always wanting to fight with everyone and swearing a lot. You could tell that he had come from a very tough home where he had to fight his way through the first 3 years of his life. It took him a while to adjust to the routine of Children of Grace and to understand why he could not fight, punch and bite the others and why swearing was not allowed here. But after he realized that he was safe, we saw a whole new little boy.

He is sweet and very helpful and loves the other kids at the orphanage. He has grown into a very kind, sweet and loving little boy. We know he will be a strong leader because he has many strong traits he just needs to learn how to incorporate them into his life. We love Dolins.
