One day we were called to the gate and an older man was sitting there with his son. The dad had had a stroke earlier that year, so he limped severly. He said he had no means to take care of this little 2 year old boy and asked if we would take him. The dad was not able to work anymore do to the stroke and life was very difficult for them. Claude was very quiet and you could see that he loved his dad but that he was hungry. We decided to take claude and be his family so that his dad was able to try to take care of the rest of the family.

Today claude still has a quiet personality but loves to go to school and play with trucks.
